ENTHUSIASM ON A QUIET DAY

wp_ss_20161224_0004

Does your pulse run at the slightest excitement
That races like a sport car aiming for gold
Does your spirit rise like the sunshine
With the crowning knowledge of a gospel
Some good news that the dusts will be wiped
That the silence will be broken
That dogs will wiggle their tails at play
And that the moon won’t be tardy longer
Maybe this quietness is no punishment
Maybe this cold is just an enthusiast
That must run through our veins today
To satisfy tomorrow with mundane memories.
