March

ON THE ROAD TAKEN

There she knew the journey had begun
And saw the people on the run
But she closed her sight to see
And failed to ask how they felt.
On the road taken, she became new
She framed a fresh identity
Forgetting the start of the road
Only seeing the distractions.
But like every tragic play
Her hubris was too much of a flaw
She saw only what she wanted
And soon lost all in blind ignorance.
